Workspaces in Medicai are designed to help healthcare professionals and clinic staff manage cases, investigations, and collaborations efficiently. Whether you work with a single institution or collaborate with multiple ones, Medicai provides a structured system that keeps everything organized and easy to access.
What Is a Workspace in Medicai?
A workspace is a dedicated environment linked to a specific clinic, hospital, or project where you are involved. Each workspace is unique to the institution, allowing you to access and manage cases and investigations specific to that organization.
Why use workspaces?
• Organization: Keep data from different institutions or projects separate and well-structured.
• Collaboration: Share and access information with your team seamlessly.
• Focus: Switch workspaces to view only the data relevant to that particular clinic or project.
Workspaces are essential for ensuring clarity and efficiency, especially for healthcare professionals managing collaborations across multiple institutions.
What Is Personal Space?
Personal Space is a dedicated workspace for doctors who create an independent account, typically following an invitation from a collaborating clinic or project. It offers flexibility for managing received studies and handling personal cases.
Key features of Personal Space:
• Storage limit: 15 GB for storing personally uploaded investigations or cases.
• Unlimited access: Receive an unlimited number of imaging studies from collaborators without requiring the sender to have a subscription plan.
• Enhanced functionality: Save studies shared from other workspaces, upload CD-based imaging, or receive files directly from patients.
Personal Space is ideal for independent doctors who want a secure and organized environment for managing their medical cases and investigations.
How Can I Tell Which Workspace I’m In?
The name of your current workspace is displayed in the top left corner of the Medicai interface, whether you’re using the browser or mobile app.
How to switch workspaces:
1. Click on the dropdown menu in the top left corner.
2. Select the desired workspace from the list.
Once you switch, the interface will update to show only the cases, investigations, and files associated with that workspace. This keeps your workflow streamlined and relevant.
Examples of Workspace Usage in Medicai
1. Doctors collaborating with multiple clinics: A doctor working with three clinics within Medicai’s portfolio can have three separate workspaces, each containing cases and investigations specific to those clinics.
2. Invited collaborators: Doctors invited to access a clinic’s workspace can easily view cases and studies shared with them, while also using Personal Space for personal uploads.
3. Independent doctors: Those not affiliated with any institution can rely on Personal Space to manage their cases and receive unlimited studies from collaborators or patients.

Workspaces in Medicai offer:
• Clear organization: Each workspace is dedicated to a single institution or project.
