To support global collaboration and ensure fair access to the platform, we recently adjusted storage policies for users without a subscription or without an account linked to a hospital/clinic with purchased storage. The new storage limit has been reduced from 15 GB to 1 GB. If you’ve reached or exceeded this limit, you’ll need to delete files to upload new ones.

Where should you check and delete files?

1️⃣ My Cases

• You can delete cases, except for those that have a patient added.

• If a case is linked to a patient, the files within that case are stored in the patient’s storage, so they do not count toward your personal storage limit.

2️⃣ My Drive

• This is where all uploaded files are stored, including those from My Cases.

Even if you delete a case, the files remain in Drive and must be manually deleted to free up space.

3️⃣ Pending Requests from Patients

• If a patient has sent you a request but has not created a free patient account, the files they uploaded will take up space in your account.

• Check the Pending Requests section.

• If there are requests that do not require medical assistance, they should be denied to prevent them from using up your storage.

4️⃣ Trash

• To permanently delete files, go to the Trash and remove them from there as well.

• Files deleted from Drive or My Cases remain in the Trash until they are permanently removed.

What can I do if I need more storage?

If you need more storage, you can check out the available subscription options on our website and choose the one that best fits your needs. Additionally, if you work in a hospital or clinic, you can recommend Medicai to your team, so the institution can purchase a storage plan for the medical staff.

📅 The first step is to book a demo to learn more about Medicai and how we can support your team. Schedule a call with us, and we’ll show you how the platform works!
